My Journey

I’m currently a student at the University of South Carolina studying Information Science with a minor in Business Administration. My journey hasn’t been a straight line, but every step has helped me better understand what I enjoy, what I’m good at, and where I want to build my future. I started my college experience studying Business Management at South Carolina State University. During that time, I realized that I was more interested in how information, technology, and creativity came together to solve real problems and create meaningful experiences.

After transferring to the University of South Carolina my junior year, I shifted my focus to Information Science. This change allowed me to explore areas like data, design, and digital communication. Through my coursework and projects, I’ve gained experience using tools like Excel, WordPress, and Canva, while also strengthening my ability to think critically, stay organized, and solve problems efficiently. Right now, I’m focused on building my skills in UX design, data analysis, and digital strategy. I enjoy working on projects that combine creativity with structure, analyzing information, and developing ideas that connect with people.

Looking ahead, my goal is to build a career where I can use both analytical thinking and creativity to help people in the real world. I’m especially interested in opportunities that allow me to grow, collaborate, and continue learning while contributing to meaningful work. Every step in my journey has helped shape who I am becoming, and I’m excited to keep learning and improving my technical skills along the way.
